ENROLLMENT

The Whistle Stop enrolls from a wait list. We strive to maintain a ratio of 70% VA / 30% Community children. Both full-time and part-time enrollment is possible.

For VA employees that meet eligibility requirements, childcare subsidy may be available. Please see your HR Representative or visit vaww.ccrms@va.gov for more information.

Full day enrollment entitles a family to 10 hours of care per day. Preschool half-day enrollment consists of 6:00-12:00 or 12:00-6:00 schedules.
(Half-day availability for Preschool only)
Part-time schedules are M-W-F or T-Th.

Mainstreaming of children with physical, mental or sensory impairments is encouraged. Adaptations will be provided to the extent possible.

Please submit your waitlist form via mail. Mailing address:  The Whistle Stop P.O. Box V-51 Palo Alto, CA.  94304.  At this time, we are only providing tours of the center to families that have been offered enrollment.  We hope to resume normal touring next year.  We are still limiting the exposures for our children and staff.
